We are COOK4CALD
A youth based charity that aims to provide judgement free support to culturally and linguistically diverse families within our community.
We believe that everyone should be able to gain access to support they need, so we’re doing what we can to remove barriers for migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and international students to access aid.
Our support is not exclusive, we will help anyone in our community who needs a meal or requires aid in finding suitable support.
We run in specific periods throughout the year, so keep an eye out on our socials to see when we are preparing and delivering next!

We’re incredibly proud to share that COOK4CALD has been awarded the 2025 Victorian Multicultural Commission’s Award of Excellence for Youth Leadership!
This is our greatest recognition to date, and it’s only possible because of the dedication of our volunteers and the unwavering support of our community.
From day one, our mission has been to empower young people while providing culturally meaningful meals to families across Melbourne’s South East. To have this impact acknowledged at such a level means the world to us.
To all of our volunteers, past and present, thank you. Your passion, hard work, and belief in our purpose have shaped COOK4CALD into what it is today. We will always be for the community, by the community, and this award is something we can all be proud of.
The Summer Program
What is the Support Market?
The Support Market is an initiative to raise awareness to the CALD and Youth community, of what support services are available to them. The marketplace setting allows for a comfortable, family day out where all can learn about supports within the area! In addition to stalls held by service providers, there will be a variety of small businesses that are run by Youth or CALD owners/creators. Additionally, the day will be filled with food, activities, performances and fun!
